Choose between two bespoke illustrations of Melbourne's favourite coastlines;
Mornington Peninsula
Bellarine & Surf Coast

Chris and Andrea Moss designed these towels with their children during 2016. Each “little moment” illustrated is significant to their family.

Choose between two bespoke designs: Bellarine & Surf Coast and Mornington Peninsula.

The custom-made towel is 100% cotton and made with the highest grade materials for a soft and velvety finish. Full of vibrant colour and in a generous size so you can stretch out in the sun for a lazy day on the beach.

    • 100% Cotton
    • Custom designed in Australia
    • 1750mm x 950mm (largest sized beach towel)

Chris and Andrea have been holidaying on the Mornington Peninsula since 2006. Their three children all learnt how to negotiate “the surf” while doing Nippers there. As a tribute to Chris’ Mum they included her favourite bird–the Honeyeater–perched on the ‘S’ in Sorrento.

Other “moments” include a wallaby that Chris knows well and actually drew. He sees her most days when he walks in Point Nepean National Park. Chris also used his artistic talent and drew the Sorrento Pier, the Couta Boat and Chinaman’s Hat with its resident seals.

The Portsea Polo is of course featured after their very memorable Liberty Belle marquee dominated the social pages one summer. Chris (jnr) and William drew the beach boxes. The children included an echidna as they always find one when they go walking in the bush with their Dad. The Portsea Pub is always a favourite for a Sunday lunch. Sophie insisted that the skulking Tiger Snake hiding in the agapanthus be included after a “too close” encounter a few years back! Each bird featured is local to the area.

Chris’ Great Aunty Jo once owned the old Terminus Hotel in Point Lonsdale and he spent memorable summer holidays there while growing up. There’s also the lighthouse that Chris thought was haunted and William is now convinced that his Dad is right.

We had to include Gary Ablett Snr’s epic mark as Chris is a massive Geelong supporter. The famous Lorne Pier to Pub Swim is featured as Chris often swam this when he was a Medical Student. Andrea’s Nan and Tompa are depicted enjoying the view as they would so often do from their “little getaway” house in Portarlington and they loved the local mussels.

Then there’s iconic Bells Beach – Andrea will never forget the severe sunburn she got there after her HSC exams! The Falls Festival at Lorne and Cadel Evans’ Great Ocean Road bike race are also included. Barwon Heads Golf Club also mysteriously revealed itself – our cherished PA Margie snuck it in as she spends most weekends there. The wildlife and birds featured are all local to the area.
