Vascular Treatments

Are spider veins preventing you from wearing clothing that exposes your legs? Are you tired of covering Rosacea, red acne scars or a birthmark with makeup? Does the sun damage on your décolletage and neck bother you? If so, our professional and experienced clinicians at Liberty Belle have an answer to these common vascular skin conditions.

At Liberty Belle we use several specialised lasers that target the red pigment in red blood cells within abnormal capillaries and sun damage which are on the skin surface. The light from the machine is absorbed by the abnormal red pigment which results in destruction of these blemishes. It’s a simple and effective way to fix these troublesome skin conditions.

FAQ

Here are some common questions our patients ask during their vascular treatment consultation.

How does the vascular treatment work?

Laser treatments target the red pigment in red blood cells within abnormal capillaries and sun damage which are on the skin surface. The light from the machine is absorbed by the abnormal red pigment which results in destruction of these blemishes.

Who are the best candidates for this treatment?

Fair to olive skin types (patients without dark pigment in their skin). Patients should be treated with caution if they have had significant sun exposure (sun, solarium) or fake tan in the four weeks immediately prior to treatment.

What are the results?

This procedure is ideal for the face, neck and decolletage and can require one to three treatments for a complete result. Although some blemishes may reappear with further sun damage, they too can be treated. As with any treatment, combination therapy is best for optimal results.
